SOUTH JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) — One man is dead after multiple people were stabbed in Queens shortly after Fourth of July celebrations early Saturday morning, according to authorities.
The 25-year-old man was stabbed in the chest along with another 25-year-old who was stabbed in his torso and a 24-year-old who was slashed in his abdomen just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of 112th Avenue and Sutphin Boulevard, police say.
Emergency response teams took all three men to a local hospital, where the 25-year-old stabbed in the chest succumbed to his injuries, officials reported.
Authorities say they’re continuing to investigate what led up to the incident.
