QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — E and F subway trains were suspended in Queens on Saturday morning, according to the MTA’s website.
It comes as a result of switch trouble at the Briarwood station in Queens, the notice on the website said.
The last stop on some Queens-bound E trains was Queens Plaza while the last stop on some Queens-bound F trains was the 21 St-Queensbridge subway station.
For alternate service commuters were advised to take the Q43, Q44-SBS or Q60 buses.
Additionally the LIRR cross-honored MetroCard holders and OMNY users between Penn Station/Grand Central and Jamaica.
