Boyfriend struck, killed by car in Queens domestic incident: sources

OZONE PARK, Queens (PIX11) – A boyfriend was struck and killed by a car during a domestic incident with his girlfriend in Queens on Thursday, sources told PIX11 News.

Police said officers responded to an assault near 101st Street and Liberty Boulevard in Ozone Park around 10:45 p.m. A 23-year-old man was found lying in the street with severe trauma throughout his body, according to authorities.

Police said he was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

The NYPD has a person in custody in connection with the incident, according to sources. It’s not clear if it’s the man’s girlfriend or what charges she may face.
