NEW YORK (PIX11) — Multiple New York City and New Jersey area airports are reporting multiple delays due to thunderstorms, according to the National Airspace System Status.
Newark Liberty International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, and LaGuardia Airport are experiencing delays of more than 100 hours due to weather.
“Weather conditions have caused LGA Airport flight disruptions. Check with your airline to determine the status of your flight,” read a post on Twitter.
Teterboro Airport is experiencing a departure delay, according to the FAA.
Over 18 million people throughout the United States are expected to travel by air during the Fourth of July holiday weekend, according to the Transportation Security Administration.
